The Last Scrappy Hour

Well, last night marked the last ever Scrapbook Fever In-Store Scrappy Hour. We were about thirty people strong! I was good to see employees, former design team members and loyal customers having fun scrapping. It was a sad occassion though. the store was nearly stripped bare. Hard to see it that way. It was good to hear that the blog will keep going & former employees are still going to host monthly crops downtown Round Rock! The first one is coming up September 13th! Acrylic Album

Telephonic Bind It All Tutorial!

Okay, I have this great friend, Frankie, who had a birthday on the 23rd. Myself and some friends went together and bought her a Bind It All for her special day. Well, she lives clear across the USA. She calls me yesterday, gripping, because she can't figure out how to punch more than six holes with her BIA & get them to line up. So, I walked her through it. Lo and behold, she made her first mini album while on the phone with me!!! Congrats Frankie! First time I've ever done a telephonic BIA tutorial!!

I Earned My Scissors.....

Well, I just got my Fiskars scissors in the mail today. Fiskateer #4014. I've finally earned my scissors.... An honor indeed!! I'm so proud!!!

A Sad Day

Well today, Scrapbook Fever, a locally owned scrappy place that has been a paert of this community for ten years, announced it is cclosing it's doors. I have worked with the wonderful ladies there and I'm in shock. Went over to visit for a while this afternoon, it was very sad..... Gonna miss that place.

I'm so sorry Lorrie that it didn't work out! Thoughts and prayers to everyone involved.
