DaScrapAddict: Scrapping Your Boy

It sure appears to this scrapper that having girls and being able to scrap them is easier than having boys and trying to scrap them. There are endless choices available to those of us scrapping about our girls. But the choices are much more limited when it comes to boys.

Hi, I’m Vickie Flinchum an Oregon City Mixed Media Assemblage Artist, playfully identifying myself as “Da Scrap Addict.” Originally hailing from the Deep South, I spent many years in Kentucky, Florida and Texas before relocating to the Pacific Northwest. I’m self taught with no formal artistic education. My love of art has followed me from childhood, with learning, exploring and creating being a life-long passion. My fascination with color and texture, and corrosion and weathering is reflected in my work where I often combine vintage baubles, found objects and distressed elements to express my artistic voice. I have over a decade of experience in the Paper Crafting and Scrapbooking industry as a product demonstrator and designer, blogger, design team member, educator and published artist. My works have been featured in Cloth, Paper Scissors Magazine; The Big Book of Scrapbooking Ideas and The Bind-It-All Around the World – Idea Book.
