S is for Samantha
Here's my latest project. Another Word Bloom Book from Heart of Texas Studio! It's called the WaterFall. I bound this one with my Zutter Bind It All because I have an unhealthy obsession with this tool!!!!
Thank You.....And a Wonderful Thing...
Carolyn King at My Blog By Cammie is doing an amazing thing! She is saying "Thank You" to caregivers for all they do for those they care for. She saw them help her Grandmother who died of Altzheimer's in June of this year. Go read about the amazing prizes package she has assembled from lots of companies and individuals. Make a card to participate, but make it because you want to say thank you.
I want to say "Thank You" to my Dad who tirelessly cared for my Mom for years leading up to her death. Eventually she couldn't walk, shower, eat, dress or go to the restroom unassisted. He worked night and day to care for her. She passed away shortly after their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Thank You Dad! I love you and I am so proud to be your daughter.
Here's my card to him. Thank you Cammie for such a wonderful thing you are doing. Thank you to everyone associated with this project. Please go check it out.

Please Remember
Here in Central Texas we a reminded daily of the damage and destruction that Hurricane Ike left behind, not just here in Texas but across the United States. If you can please help in some way: donate food, clothing or money to a local charity, The American Red Cross, or here in Texas to The Capitol Area Food Bank. If you can't donate any of these things, consider donating time. It's something many of these organizations could use much of right now. Please keep the individuals affected by this terrible storm in your thoughts and prayers.
Another Word Bloom Book!
Just completed another Word Bloom Book for my friend Pam over at Heart of Texas Studio. This is SPOOK!! Fun books, you have to check them out. These are soooooo much fun to create with! I used my BIA (Bind It All) on this one!!

Watching Ike!
Hurricane season gets scarier every year. Watching closely to see where Ike decides to go. I wish he would just go away, but know that's not gonna happen! All we can do is pray the storm doesn't get any stronger.
A Toot!
I will have an altered home decor item and a layout in the upcoming issue ScrapBook News and Review !
