More Fourth of July Fun!!

Howdy y'all!! It has been super HOT this summer here in Central Texas, so, I've been spending much of my time indoors and actually getting a little creating done in the process!

Hi, I’m Vickie Flinchum an Oregon City Mixed Media Assemblage Artist, playfully identifying myself as “Da Scrap Addict.” Originally hailing from the Deep South, I spent many years in Kentucky, Florida and Texas before relocating to the Pacific Northwest. I’m self taught with no formal artistic education. My love of art has followed me from childhood, with learning, exploring and creating being a life-long passion. My fascination with color and texture, and corrosion and weathering is reflected in my work where I often combine vintage baubles, found objects and distressed elements to express my artistic voice. I have over a decade of experience in the Paper Crafting and Scrapbooking industry as a product demonstrator and designer, blogger, design team member, educator and published artist.
