The Zutter 11 for '11 Blog Hop

Howdy y'all! Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year!

We Original Zutter Zisters and the current Zutter Zisters got together to help you (b)ring in the New Year. We've all created some creative projects to get you thinking and creating this January. Hope you'll hop along with us!

For my project I created a New Year's Quote Book. I used my Bind It All ; 12x12 chipboard covers , one set; 1 1/4" Black Owires ; 15 manila tags and miscellaneous Prima flowers, Glimmer Mist, brads and ephemera. Here's what my tag book looks like:

Love the size and shape of your book. One question tho. Was that a piece of metal on the front cover. Hard for me to see, but it looked like distressed copper. Regardless, it is lovely.

What a success it was replicating your idea! We had a Post New Years party this last weekend and everyone LOVED it. All my guests wrote in their favorite quote or memory. We will add to it throughout the year. Reading it over next New Years will be fun!

I like the use of what look to be dictionary pages for the background of the cover. The idea of keeping a book of quotes is also great.
